HERE'S THE THING is a new regular pop up by Chef Zoe Schor - one of the owners of Chicago's newest queer bar, Fathom!

We're back on August 13th starting at 5pm until sold out at Fathom (1622 W Belmont).

Chef Zoe is serving up a classic Philly cheesesteak & keeping it simple - meat, cheese, bun. With thinly sliced ribeye griddled together with onions and sharp provolone cheese, piled into a squishy Turano bun & served with a side of crispy French fries, your dinner is decided. $20 for the sandwich and fries.

Fathom is 21+ and requires physical or mobile ID for all to enter. Fathom is also ADA accessible with easy entry through our front and garage doors.

ABOUT THE CHEF

Zoe Schor is a semi-retired Chef, having spent the last 20 years navigating through the culinary scene across New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. She was the opening Chef at Ada Street before opening her own restaurant, Split-Rail in 2018. There she earned a James Beard Nomination and ran the restaurant until it's closure in 2023. She is the owner and operator of the lesbian bar Dorothy and Fathom, a new queer bar in the Lakeview neighborhood. You can find her online @zoeschor.
